Oslo – stolica kraju przesyconego zielonymi dachami

W roku 2019 Zieloną Stolicą Europy zostało Oslo – stolica kraju wręcz przesyconego zielonymi dachami. Z budową tych najstarszych można zapoznać się w Norsk Folkemuseum, ale w mieście właściwie z każdym dniem powstają nowe.

Na dachach hoteli instalowane są ogrody ziołowe i warzywne zaopatrujące hotelowe kuchnie. Podobne użytkowe-spożywcze dachy powstają na tarasach szpitali, zwłaszcza dziecięcych, gdzie mali pacjenci mogą uczestniczyć zarówno w budowie prostych instalacji jak i w uprawie jadalnych roślin. Farmy miejskie można spotkać także na dachach biurowców, gdzie pracownicy mogą wypocząć ale też częstować się plonami.

Przestrzenie prywatne również obfitują w zielone dachy: tradycyjne – darniowe oraz współczesne – ekstensywne i intensywne.

Te ostatnie mogą mieć formę wydzielonych małych przestrzeni prywatnych lub części wspólnych.

Fani żyjących ścian mogą je podziwiać w Oslo wyłącznie w postaci instalacji wewnętrznych i to już po opuszczeniu samolotu na lotnisku. A może Wy spotkaliście zewnętrzne żyjące ściany gdzieś w Skandynawii?

In 2019 Oslo became the European Green Capital. This city is the capital of a country full of green roofs. The construction of the oldest ones can be seen in the Norsk Folkemuseum, but in the city new ones are created every day.

Herb gardens and vegetable gardens which supply hotel kitchens are installed on the roofs of the hotels. Similar food roofs are created on the terraces of hospitals, especially children’s hospitals, where young patients can participate both in the construction of simple installations and in the cultivation of edible plants.

Urban farms can also be found on the roofs of office buildings, where employees can rest, but also treat themselves with crops.

Private spaces also abound in green roofs: traditional – turf and modern – extensive and intense.

The seconds ones may take the form of separate small private spaces or common roof gardens.

Fans of living walls can admire them in Oslo only in the form of internal installations. The first of them are visible just after leaving the plane at the airport.
